DJI - Solutions Engineer
Kyle Miller is part of DJI's solutions engineering team. Kyle grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Iowa, and has degrees in computer science and agribusiness. He has been researching remote sensing technology for more than 10 years, and creating drone maps since 2013. Since building his first UAV 10 years ago, Kyle has utilized drone data in a number of different commercial industries including AEC, surveying, and agriculture.
Jacob Garland
Pointivo - Chief Technology Officer
Jacob is an accomplished software leader and product designer with over 15 years of experience in AI-based technology startups. As the Chief Technology Officer at Pointivo, he leads teams in developing their AI-driven software platform for precise analytics and automation in asset inspection and management. Jacob's previous experience includes running development at Nexidia, where he launched award-winning products for the media and entertainment industry. He holds a computer science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a certified FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys mentoring, cooking BBQ, and spending time with family in the Greater Atlanta Metro area.
Colin Blake
Pointivo - Director of Solutions Engineering
Colin Blake is the Director of Solutions Engineering at Pointivo, where he drives technology adoption and identifies new use-cases. With a background as the Director of Customer Success, Colin oversaw a customer operations team that processed over 100,000 assets annually, contributing to significant company growth. Prior to Pointivo, Colin held roles at Coca-Cola and in the broadcast and entertainment technology sector, designing hardware for major broadcasters and contributing to an Emmy-winning team in 2015. He has been a dedicated drone enthusiast since 2014, building and flying FPV freestyle drones.
