About the webinar

Drone applications are being implemented worldwide for emergency services personnel. There is seemingly unlimited information and training regarding the use and implementation of these amazing devices. However, one area that has not been addressed in the use and implementation of UAS in emergency services is the proper education, implementation, and interpretation of thermography for drone use.

Insight Training LLC provides an 8 hour Course for this very purpose. This program has been specifically designed to address the use of thermal imaging in UAS for first responders. This program can be delivered in person or via a live webinar.

Instructor Andy Starnes is a Level II Thermography Certified Fire Service Professional who developed the world’s first thermography-based firefighting certification. Insight Training has trained thousands of firefighters around the globe and specializes in providing easy-to-understand experientially relevant examples to enhance learning for their students.

Lee Newman - Chief Pilot, London Fire Brigade

Having never dealt with drones before 2017, Lee Newman saw their value and led a successful project to introduce drones into the London Fire Brigade. His efforts have helped push his team's capabilities to new levels. He is an innovator and now gives advice to other fire service upstarts.

David Perrachino is a pilot instructor and squad leader of his fire department. He has established different protocols on the use of thermal imagery in fire response and has helped prove the benefits of drones in fire services.
