The official website for the DJI Enterprise Drone Onboard AI Challenge 2026 is now live. About the Challenge

Initiated and hosted by DJI, the DJI Enterprise Drone Onboard AI Challenge 2026 is designed to accelerate the development and real-world adoption of onboard AI. Centered around three core AI deployment architectures: drone deployment, Manifold 3 deployment, and cloud-based deployment, the Challenge bridges the gap between perception and decisive action.

With your participation, we aim to unlock unprecedented productivity across diverse sectors, including power line inspection, public safety, patrol operations, agriculture, natural resource management, and emergency response. Together, we will redefine the era of AI-enabled flight.

 

How to Submit Your Solution

The submission channel is now open. Follow these steps to move your strongest solutions from code to real-world operations:

Step 1: Become a DJI Developer

Access the official Challenge website and click "Login/Register" on the top right corner to join the DJI Developer platform. Once registered, you will unlock access to the submission portal.

Step 2: Submit Your Entry

Click "Submit Now" and provide your comprehensive solution package.

Your submission must include a detailed solution introduction, the AI model (matching the Designated Test Device SN), and a validation dataset containing no fewer than 20 test samples. Participants are also required to provide a screen recording of the full workflow, including import, parameter configuration, operation/detection, and report generation. In addition, a declaration of independent intellectual property must be submitted as part of the materials.

The organizing committee will review and evaluate all submitted solutions. Finalists will be announced in June 2026, and the selected teams will receive official certificates. Outstanding Finalist solutions will also be showcased on the official Challenge website.

Following the Finalists announcement, the public testing and voting channel will open. Based on expert evaluations and the composite score from the advancement stage, the organizing committee will conduct a final assessment and announce the final winners in July 2026.

 

Challenge Awards

To recognize outstanding innovations in onboard intelligence, the Challenge will award the most promising solutions:

The Best Onboard AI Model Award will be granted to the teams demonstrating the most innovative and technically advanced onboard AI model. The winner will receive an Osmo Pocket Series Combo, a Manifold 3 Combo, and a trophy.

The Industry Application Excellence Award will be granted to the solutions that best showcases practical industry application and deployment potential. The winning team will receive a Manifold 3 Combo and a trophy.

Final award details are subject to the official announcement of the Challenge.
